WEC Series
Walchem’s WEC310 Series controllers measure conductivity of a solution via an encapsulated, non-contacting
sensor to control replenishment pumps and alarms. One or two baths may be controlled at once. The controllers may be applied in a number of
very harsh chemical control applications, including oily cleaner baths, chromates, rinse tanks, fume scrubbers and other concentrated chemicals
up to a conductivity of 1000 mS/cm. Four conductivity ranges may be selected to configure the controller over a wide range of applications.
Choice of measurement units are: µS/cm, mS/cm, ppm and % concentration. The non-contacting, toroidal sensor technology eliminates the
contamination and calibration issues that direct contacting sensors are prone to. The conductivity measurement is extremely reliable, the sensor
is immune to thin coatings that would impair operation of direct contacting sensors and a wide range of conductivity may be measured. PEEK
™
sensor construction results in excellent mechanical strength, high temperature capability and resistance to chemical attack. CPVC sensors offer
good chemical resistance at a lower price.

WNI/WCU Series
Walchem’s plating controllers have guaranteed the quality of your plating applications for over 20 years. Featuring the WCU (Electroless
Copper/Microetch) and WNI (Electroless Nickel), Walchem offers the highest level of reliability in the industry. The WCU and WNI are
optoelectronic on-line analyzers that measure the actual concentration of the copper or nickel in solution (g/L or oz/gal). Both models are
robust, low cost, microprocessor based, menu driven industrial controllers. The WCU controller may be switched from electroless copper
mode to microetch mode via a menu choice, eliminating the need for a second controller. UL/CSA/CE certified.

FOUR SEPARATE CONTROL RELAYS & OUTPUTS. May be used to add copper,
caustic, formaldehyde or chelator/stabilizer chemistries.
OPERATOR ADJUSTABLE. Concentration set point, alarm set points (high and low),
dead band and pump on time are all easily adjustable.
PROGRAMMABLE ACCESS CODES. Secure set point parameters.
NO DEGASSING NECESSARY
. Analog signal conditioning and a proprietary soft-
ware algorithm eliminate the need for traditional degassing elements.
OPTIONAL PH INPUT BOARD. May be used to add pH adjustment chemistry.
